This LGB drover caboose was the green Colorado and Southern one and had the silver roof with the gold plated hand rails and such. I used a mahogany color to paint the car body (called acra burnt orange same as on the 6 ton Porter), and used a color called vermont clay to do the windows and horizontal stripe. I rubbed dirty red powder over the mahogany as well as dirty grey and black here and there on the car body. The vermont clay was treated with gritty yellow, and a bit of dirty grey. The roof I painted with flat black. Next I used white powder rubbing it in evenly with a stiff brush, then I applied black powder over that. The cat walk and the platform ends were painted with a driftwood color, stained with black shoe polish and alcohol mix (5 to 1), and when dry combinations of black, grey, and brown powder were applied. The car is to receive Kadee couplers.
